Phd Program on “Quantum Technologies” supported by the Italian Government-MIUR

This new Ph.D. Program originates from the awareness of the need of an interdisciplinary background on “Quantum Technologies” and from the concept that a smart combination of different platforms can provide flexible and transformational solutions, useful for a variety of quantum applications. The PhD program is aimed at promoting an interdisciplinary approach to the various quantum platforms, building on complementary expertise ranging from physical sciences to chemistry, engineering and informatics. It will cover quantum computation, quantum networks and communication, quantum simulation, quantum sensors and metrology with some focus on quantum interfaces and couplers for integrated hybrid quantum devices.

Partners are the University of Napoli Federico II, the National Council of Research (CNR) and the University of Camerino (Italy). Courses will be held in Napoli, Firenze and Camerino.

The call for applications can be found at http://www.unina.it/didattica/post-laurea/dottorati-di-ricerca/english-version (Deadline July 31st 2018!!!!)
