Dr. Javier E. Villegas leads a research group at the CNRS/Thales Lab in Palaiseau (France), which is associated to the Paris-Saclay University. He is an experimentalist, and his research interests include vortex physics and interface phenomena in hybrids that combine superconductors with variety of materials: ferromagnets, ferroelectrics or graphene.
